My daughter is in the exact same situation as yourself GG666, after 6 months the HR head visited her after the doctor sent a report saying he could not give a definate date for her return to work, my daughter resigned and claimed ESA, 5 months later she was given a 12 month sick note from the NHS doctor the DWP sent her to. I can't see you losing your ESA if you are no longer being paid anything by your employer but i would ask the DWP what the inmplications would be if you resigned due to long term illness. Oh and good luck, I've seen my daughter in abject despair for no other reason than she had lost a phone charger. It's very dabilitating
pussy is gonk...............ignore him.

He means no insult to you, so don't concern yourself, please.
