As a life-long Magpie, I could not be happier about yesterday's result!

We have one, and only one, task to accomplish this season, and that is to go straight back up. And, at the moment, we're achieving it.

The absolute last thing we need is a protracted run in a cup competition which we have no realistic chance of winning - all that would achieve is to increase the potential for injury and to increase the overall games we play this season.

I predict that we will finish first, Notts Forest will finish second and WBA will finish third - and not get through the play-offs...
