Has anyone on AB ever persuaded you to change your opinion?

I have just been posting in the news section and it occurred to me that sometimes opinions are not necessarily a valid enough reason to contribute a post .

jackthehat, certain mischievous parties have been to post 'news' items that have no factual basis, and others have just quoted rants from the Daily Mail, which amounts to much the same thing. Obviously no proper pub arguer would do such a thing; but on the internet I find it useful to check sources if I haven't already seen the story myself.
parklife, the Ed doesn't 'let' anybody post; he is too busy reading the Church Times to see everything on the site, and is only aware of objectionable posts when they're reported.
