I've had a go at growing Habañeros/Scotch bonnets - was a great success, managed to turn them into some pretty serious 'rocket fuel' hot sauces too !
Quite looking forward to having a go at growing the (apparently) hottest ones of all "Red Savina."

By the way, the Savina used to be the hottest, but it's been outdone by the Japanese variety 'Naga Jolokia', also known as the 'Ghost Pepper'.

babybop - as far as I know yes, around late March early Apr generally.
Scotman - I bought some seeds from an online company BUT I also bought a few Scotch Bonnets from the local market, disected the fattest one and planted the seeds - they grew!
They're pretty easy to grow if you follow the basic instructions and it's fantastically rewarding when you get a good harvest.
