what is a postcatd competition?

I assumed it meant where you enter by postcard.
But I posted link when this question was asked previously and it'sbeen reposted - so I must be wrong :-/

it is a competition requiring your details by post. i have won a few small prizes this way, nothing major. books, cd's etc

Did you not find the Loquax site helpful?
I do a lot of the online ones they're free and simple to do and have won lots of things from jars of sauce to holidays :-)
Postcards seem such a bother to me!
