Is crime all sorted in London now?

Apparently Boris is stepping down as chairman of the Metropolitan Police Authority

He said when elected he was going to personally "take charge"
That doesn't seem to have lasted very long
Still have "bendy" busses too I hear.
Is Boris lacking in the political stamina department do you think?

Boris has bailed out as Chairman of the MPA because being an ex-MP, he knows that it has now been stripped of all its powers.
Quite why the Government didn't undermine the MPA during Ken's reign is a mystery.

Yep; London's just a little bubble of joy to live in these days and the streets are also paved with gold once again.
Those bendy buses are a nightmare, I still can't believe they changed the famous 12 bus route to one of those god awful things. A real danger to cyclists though so maybe there's some positive points about them.... ;0)

I don't live in London youngmafbog - not for 25 years - so I can't really say
I still find it hard to see what the fuss was about with bendy busses.
But Boris seems to lack a certain political stamina!
I think we've all met the type - likes to storm in and take control and then hand over to someone else when the boring hard work starts
