Hi

I woke up the other morning and noticed I had a red blotch in the bottom hand corner of one eye. Certainly wasn't there when I went to bed! It's still here the next morning.

I know it's probably just a burst blood vessel, no idea what caused it, but is there anything I can do to get rid of it coz it looks horrible! Well I think so!!

Or does anyone know how long they usually take to go of their own accord?

Am not very good with putting stuff in my eyes but suppose I would try eye drops if someone tells me they really work!!

go see your doctor, it may be a sign of high blood pressure..if not he may give you a prescription for some eye drops..
Where is your "bottom hand" corner?

Ha, knew that didn't make sense when I typed it! I meant its the outer side of my eye and at the bottom rather than the top of my eye. Still here the next day and I'm now getting paranoid about how it looks!
buffy, is it on the skin or the white of the eye?
I had that a while ago.

It just goes away of its own accord after a few days.
