Hmmmpf!

Well...went with daughter for her scan, I didn't get to go in and see as the midwife only allowed one other person in there so obviously the boyfriend went in, and after alot of poking and prodding it's a 70% chance of being a boy.

Tiny bit disapointed that I didn't get to see him (her?) for myself and that we don't know for definite what it is.

Still, on a brighter note, and the most important, he's (she's?) 100% healthy and normal :-)

Nice one doc - I have tried employing the same system I use for viewing magic eye pix but I am well overdue at the opticians. So long as both are healthy!

Awww, that's fabulous Doc!

I'd show you a copy of the 20 week scan if i had it, but to be honest it's kinda scary! They managed to get a picture of it face on (despite not being able to get his body full on!). So you see a skull with eye sockets. As adorable as im hoping he'll be, my grand-sons scan picture is the stuff of nightmares!

I am very pleased for you BOO, who cares about the married bit, this baby will be adored by all of you, and take it from me, theres no better a feeling then being a grandparent, so I raise my glass to you, your daughter and her BF

Hi Boo - so sorry, I've only just noticed this thread.

I had no idea you were going to be a grandparent! That's fantastic news after our convo's on here last year. I hope your daughter is well & that all goes to plan for her & her boyfriend, which I'm sure it will.

Yeah she's got names. Lucas Matthew or if he suddenly becomes that 30% Isabella and ive forgotten middle name of that one.

Hi again BOO - only just switched on today!

18th June - what a wonderful thing to look forward to - a summer baby!

I like the name Lucas & our youngest granddaughter is Isabel - but we call her Izzy most of the time. (Her middle name is May).
