I'm currently renting and my cooker had to be disconnected on the 1st June due to a fire. The cooker is burnt out and therefore unusable. Is it the landlords responsibilty to replace the cooker? (The fire service found it to be faulty and no fault of mine). If so, what rights do I have to get this replaced?. I have a rolling monthly tenancy.

If the property was let to you furnished then the landlord must replace it if its on the inventory.  If not he is in breach of contract and you could stop paying him rent until it is fixed
