Has anyone either renovated or built a brick Septic Tank?

Have one that works perfectly fine, just too small - looking at re building it.

Thank You

Thank You for your help
The old brick ones work MUCH better than the modern 'onion' shaped plastic or GRP ones. In our opinion, the best plastic ones are based on the old traditional 2 chamber designs - which are also the ones favoured by the rest of the world - apart from the UK. You can build your own septic tank, fully conforming to BS 6297 1983, easily, and they are still OK with Building Regs.
