I was bought one for Xmas and have cooked chicken, beef, lamb and sausage casseroles etc, but was wondering if I could cook a lamb or beef mince type of casserole, with onions, peas carrots etc.
If I can, do I put water in first and how long should I let it slow cook?
Thanks all you Gordan Ramsey's out there.

Hi trt x
yes you can do most foods in your slow cooker! Just put your meat mince in & your veg on top. May be about half a pint of thickish stock, try a couple of hours on high, taste test it! In the mean time here's a brilliant website for recipes!http://www.slowandsimple.com/
I'm thinking mince wont take as long to cook, but on second thoughts the veg will take longer. Anyway, taste test! It may take an hour or two added on to that first estimate!
