my birthday is on the 25th of december,

yes christmas day!

and like you Peri, I get a lot of shared christmas and birthday presents. and birthday messages written in christmas cards. and christmas wrapping on birthday pressies.

when I tell people, they normally say 'oh, that can't be much fun', but I don't mind it. I get to spend the whole day with extended family who I might not ordinarily see, and obviously I don't have to go to work. And I have an excuse to eat lots and drink lots all day on my birthday, which is always good news!

my birthday is shared by other christmas babies; Sir Issac Newton, Annie Lennox, Dido, and best of all...Shane McGowan.
