I can't tell you how pleased I was to hear from you. I also kept looking out for you in the Health & Fitness section, but never came across any postings from you, I must admit that as time went on I was feeling quite ill and was rather down as my chemotherapy progressed and I didn't come on my computer very much and when I did feel well enough I used to look back through all the postings until I got to my own last one and I hadn't found anything from you so then gave up looking, then they changed the format and I found it was harder to search for you, I even keyed your name in the "Search In The AnswerBank" section at the top of the page but still came up with nothing. Anyway we are now back in touch again which is the main thing. When I finished my chemo at the end of july I went to see the oncologist and was then prescribed Arimidex tablets for the next five years and am now feeling fine and just getting on with life, I don't know if this is ironic but it is 12 months to the day today that I first found my lump and I have also found you again. So that's enough about me ( I do go on a bit don't I ) please tell me all about what has been happening to you since we last 'spoke'. Love Kath. X

Hi Kath, great to hear from you too. So glad I found a post from you at last. Really pleased that you are feeling much better now. And hoping the tablets are doing what they should be. I am so sorry that you felt so low, I just wish I was there more for you.

I was posting on chatterbank hoping you would see my posts, then when I didn't hear anything from you I hoped it was because you were not feeling that good and not that anything bad had happened. Sorry to be so morbid but I did think the worse. Felt very sad not knowing.
You have made my day hearing from you!

Not much to say my end, daughter getting bigger, me getting older! Had a few health problems recently. Seem to be going through a stage of one thing after another at the moment. But we all cope and get on with life as you say. We have to!

Hi again, I'm sorry that you are having a few health problems and hope they are nothing too severe. I laugh with my husband sometimes that I have been ill with one thing and another since we got married in 2007 after being together for 17 years.

You didn't say what happened about your breast lump other than they wasn't worried about it, what exactly did it turn out to be in the end?

I went to see the specialist on 22nd Dec and he said that everything looked ok, he examined my other breast and said it felt ok, my next appointment is for June this year but I have to have a bone scan next monday as the tablets I am on stop me producing oestrogen, which is what my cancer was feeding from, but it can cause osteoporosis, I will let you know the results when I get them.

Hi Kath,

Nothing serious. Inflammed tendons in my thumb (very painful). I have been diagnosed with an auto immunne disease that not many people know of, and my hardware in my back is getting a bit painful at the moment, putting that down to the cold weather. Apart from that I feel great ;0)

My problems seem to start after I gave birth to my daughter 10 years ago. Must remember not to get married!

This one-who I believe is a more occasional visitor....and Ice.Maiden....who I for one, know as 'icey'...and who has also had a number of health issues lately.

Anyway...lets hope BOTH have a better health year ahead...xx

hi Pastafreak..Yes there are two of us. Havent seen Ice.Maiden for a long time now.

Kitty and I were conversing last year when we both had a tough time with our health.

Kitty, there is a really long name for what my breast lump was, nothing serious tho, which is all that i was worrying about. Will have a look on my consultant letter and post it on here what its called.

Hi there icemaiden, I have my bone scan this afternoon so I will post on a new thread either this evening or tomorrow, although I shouldn't think I will have my results for another week. Kath xx
