I need to set up a bank account that will enable me to pay monthly amounts (mostly under £1,000) to the USA. None of the high street banks seem to offer this service without a £20 per transaction fee which I want to avoid if possible. Also the recipient would prefer me to use a bank that has a branch near them in Atlanta, Georgia, but with the exception of Allied Irish Bank (who still charge £20+ fee) there do not seem to be any. A few people have told me PayPal would be the cheapest way.

I am an agent for an American artist - I sell his work to galleries in the UK, take my commission and forward the balance to him. Don't worry - it's all legit!
yeah that's ok was just worried incase you were being done ,i would still say paypay would be the easiest option ,when sending it through paypal send it as money owed to the recipient and this way it shouldn't cost

hope this helps
