Most of my previous boyfriends were big snorers. I never thought there was much of a point in disturbing their sleep because they happened to disturb mine. Remember, she is not doing it intentionally.
Hi, My husband hadn't slept in my bed for a few years because my snoring was keeping him awake. I had tried the nasal strips and sprays nothing worked. Then during a dental checkup I mentioned to my dentist that my bite seemed different. He confirmed that at the rate my teeth were wearing/loosening I must be grinding my teeth when asleep and fitted me with a clear plastic gum shield to wear at night. Hey presto no more snoring I was cured. It took a while to get used to wearing it and had to put up with all the boxing jokes but worth it for a good nights sleep.
I have a thing that is worn on the wrist. The idea is that it moves when it detects a snore, and induces the snorer to change position without waking. Don't know if it works as I no longer have the girlfriend who was affected. I am now told that it is not a problem, so it is still in the cupboard. It cost 9.99 (forgotten where) and it is made by International Business Products Ltd., Bolton - 01942 819695 or [email protected]
