Interesting - because ex-President Bush used to do the same thing. It may be simply a difference in speech patterms, remember that Americans refer to aluminium as 'aluminum' - so think of it like that, and it won't annoy you - as it seems to right now!

I sympathise - I get irrirated when Alan Titchmarsh says anything at all ... in fact I get irriated by the sight of Alan Titchmarsh ... in fact, I get irritated by the fact that I have to share a planet with Alan Titchmarsh .....
