Slovakian music
Neighbours of ours had a CD of what was almost Greek bozouki type music, which they always put on when they were having a bit of a thrash.
I did ask what it was - a couple of tracks were quite catchy - he just said slovak music. Our conversations rarely went beyond "Morninks, neighboor" his English exceeding my non-existant Slovak!
They've since moved. Have tried amazon etc, can't find the tracks. Anyone know of a Slovak party/folksy CD? ta muchly!!

It reminds me very much of a band I know that is based here - formerly known as Paprika Balkanicus. Attached is their myspace. Fantastic virtuoso playing. Media URL: http://www.myspace.com/paprikabalkanicus
