Do them on your staircase first three sets of ten about three steps up then when you feel ready drop a step and keep doing the same, you will soon be doing them with ease.

About half a standard one and even then I struggle, I'm useless at 'em and have to do the ones where your knees are on the floor with your legs crossed. Doesn't seem to matter how much I go to the gym or even how many times I'm shown, I'm just rubbish so you are not alone!
I firmly believe you either can do them or can't. I have known muscle bound apes that can't do them, and wallflower weeds that can, and a mixture of both inbetween.

I think it's like wiggling your ears or nose - you can, or you can't, and there ain't nowt you can do about it.
I used to be able to top 250 in my youth... but nowadays I struggle to get past about 40.
They are good for arms/pecs and if done quickish, good for cardio workout too.
I was amazed yesterday watching Alan Tichmarsh on his show, he did quite a few with out getting out of breath, and I reckon he could have done more but the show had to go on.

never found they done me much good, i use to do 20 every night and every morning, but usually after a month or so i´d pack em in cuz under my upper arms would ache too much
i just done 15, after about 15 years, no problem, but that will be it
