Whats the best way to get from the airport to manhattan? im planning on getting a yellow cab but wondered if there was any other ideas (preferably cheaper!)

The airport bus goes straight to Grand Central station - it goes from right outside the arrivals hall, under the covered 'underpass' bit. Forget what we paid but its got to be cheaper than a cab.
