Next betting tip ...
1. Shelley Rudman (Team GB) to win a medal in the Skeleton.
2. Shelley to win Gold !
Here is Shelley, at 90 mph ...

Silver medallist in Turin in 2006, Shelley is a serious prospect for a UK Gold.
Shelley is currently world No2. The world No1. is Canada’s Melissa Hollingsworth.
Shelley’s head to head with Hollingsworth will be one of the high spots of the Games.
Note: the Canadians have allowed Shelley a maximum of 30 runs to get to know the track. Hollingsworth has been given 300 (!) runs.
The Germans are quite good too ... but the real battle in Vancouver will be all about Shelley and Hollingsworth. If anyone else wins Gold, I will eat ... erm ... my laptop. :-)
Two poignant descriptions from Shelley:
1. Her daughter shouting “Go, Mummy” as she stands at the top of the track, waiting to start.
2. Her helmet literally filling with blood after a crash she had a couple of years ago.
All I can say is ... "Go, Shelley!"
