Why are some modern men so useless?

Not for the first time, today I got stuck in a big long queue of traffic caused by a car that had broken down at the lights.
The owner of the car, a big strapping man, was just stood there trying to wave people around his car (that'll help) why didn't he just push it around the corner?
Oh for the days when men (people) coped.
That's my moan over, I'm gonna do me tea and then have a proper fight with some ar5ehole who has been annoying me since before Christmas.

Perhaps he'd already attempted to push the car but had broken a nail...

if the diff's broke you cant move the car, did you or anyone offer to help the guy?

He possibly didn't have the strength to move it, he may have been weakened by a recent dose of man flu.

if it was an automatic i think you aren't suppsed to push them, i've always avoided doing it anyway

Perhaps there was a semi conscious pedestrian mangled under the front... best not to move the car or the victim...

He should have stayed in the car and not bothered to wave you around. Most women would stay in the car and do their lippy or whatever.

You should be able to push an automatic round the corner in neutral Dot.

You just shouldn't tow them with the driven wheels on the road, or attempt to bump start them.

I feel a woman is quite entitled to sit there and ponder, many can but I would not expect a woman to push a car on her own.
I'd have stopped to help him, especially if he was making some kind of effort, but i had a bus full of people to drive.
