Christmas Trees Nazi

My friend has been told that Christmas trees represent Naziism. I know this may open a hornets nest but can someone tell me why this is?

Ues jayne, he did. It was long and dangled in front of him. He used to seal his letters with hot wax, using the thingy at the end but it's main purpose was to dangle his timepiece. He used to turn it upwards to put the watch in his waistcoat pochet.My grandfather did the same and called his his little Albert.

As Albert (of Saxe-Coburg) was Victorias cousin (her mother was Victoria Maria Louisa of Saxe-Coburg) surely then she also had a German connection too

It is widely thought that the first ever Christmas tree was erected by Queen Charlotte in 1800. I think she was Queen consort of the United Kingdom to George III.

the Nazis did try to stress the pagan elements of pre-Christian Germany, so there's some truth in this; but as everton has pointed out, trees have been around a lot longer than Nazis. Just because they used them doesn't mean we can't.
