Lamb passanda - is garlic a basic ingredient?
I don't usually eat Indian food as it often seems to use garlic which makes me feel ill, However tonight I went for an indian meal and (after checking with the waiter that it didn't have garlic in it) I ordered the lamb passanda. However here I am a couple of hours later with my stomach doing sommersaults.
I have looked up lamb passanda recipes online and it looks to me that they all include quite a lot of garlic.
Has he misled me or is it often made without garlic?
Thanks.

I now seriously doubt whether he even mentioned it to the chef - ggrrrr.
I went to this restaurant specifically because it has such a good reputation.
