Now I know we are in a recession, and some people are sadly poor or less well off than others but really......................
If you partner got one of these "deals" from the TV adverts that says you can have a Valentines Special - meal for two , bottle of wine, creamy pud and a rose for something like £15 in Marks and Sparks or £3.99 in ASDA, would you think
1. Ahhh my man is so romantic
2. Ahhh my man is so prudent with his cash, I love him even more
3. What a tight a-s-s-e-d get, I need to find me a new man!!!
we bought the m & s deal for £20 earlier, very good value and it's the first time since we've been married that we've ever bothered doing anything special for valentines day, or valentines day eve actually. depends if you're an insecure, needy sort of person and that kind of thing bothers you. personally i don't need someone to spend a whole pile of money to prove they love me.
