I'm not saying you're wrong, but now i'm not sure whats correct!

If this girl had just escaped from a cult,lord knows what state her mind was in,or just what she imagined to be true.Or maybe she was just trying to get revenge on the cult?
I suppose if you had (Human) Inbreeding,down to grandchild level, some defects might just occur,but again it's not 100% certain.Luckily today we are much healthier,and (we hope) we have less genetic defects to pass on to the next generation;but in the past such things might have happened.
Some of these ideas of inbreeding defects are more urban myths.
