Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Is anyone else having difficulty in getting the online version as the grid I get is not the one appropriate for the questions?

Thanks for that I thought I was going mad -it is quite ironic The Guardian (free)changed their crossword site this week and most people were up in arms about the changes and now a paid-for one is causing difficulties

I think I had more enjoyment, and satisfaction, constructing a new grid and filling it,
than I would have with the correct online grid.

Apparently paper version clues are different and fit the grid printed with the online version.So what happens to people who only have online access?Does making your own grid qualify one for entry?

I went out and bought the paper to do the printed one. Now trying to fit the online clues into a 15 by 15 grid and cant make it fit. Can anyone help?

Still no update - apparently it's the clues that are inappropriate for the grid. Oh well, can only wait, but would like to get myself into the prize draw.
