Should we feel sorry for Brown?

Does one feel sorry for this hypocrite who shed crocodile tears over the death of his baby daughter.
Normally I would say yes for a person in these circumstances, but in his case, not one bit.
This is the man who sends young men & women to their deaths almost on a daily basis, without showing the same emotion.

I do not believe that it was worded wrongly, It is not as if a word or a phrase has been left out or it could be interpreted in more than one way, however, an apology has been given twice now and I think it time we move on

You make one of the most offensive postings ever AOG and then have the nerve to tell me I am offensive in advising you to leave things alone because you are making yourself look stupid (and you still are). I do not consider any of my postings on this thread offensive.
I will not report this thread. I hope it stays as it shows you for what you are.
I am sorry you have lost children yourself AOG. It doesn't appear to have made you empathatic or sympathetic to others who have suffered the same loss.
TCL is correct. There is no way your question could be misconstrued.

Just to remind you of the footnote to AOGs so called apology...
// This did not stop the usual rude and offensive individuals from spitting out their usual bile, to those they disagree with. So for the record this apology is not aimed at them, but to other more balanced persons, who might have read into my question something that wasn't intended. //

Well Gromit I am pleased that the ED, isn't so unfairly emotional as yourself and others that wished this question to be removed.
Even though my intention was to point out why one should show pity for Brown when he shows no pity for those hundreds he sends to their deaths.
Others have chosen to ignore this point and focus on the Crocodile Tears, part of my post, that is their prerogative and obviously there is little more I can do to alter this fact.

An analogy doesn't depend on exact details being the same. It wouldn't be an analogy otherwise - it would be repetition.
You seem to be suggesting that it's hypocritical if a leader doesn't show identical levels of grief towards the death of his own child and the death of someone else's.
What about Chruchill or Field Marshal Haig? Are they hypocrites if they show public grief at the death of a family member, having sent thousands to the deaths?
What exactly is it you want? Politicians crying every time a soldier dies? Or politicians showing stoic indifference towards the death of their own child?
Why are you unable to spot the difference? And why do you expect no difference to exist?

I know perfectly well what an analogy is.
I said "YOUR" analogy just didn't work, it was way out.
You also mention Chruchill (Churchill) and Field Marshal Haig, they were of a different age.
Since the death of Princess Diana we have moved into what has become a more sensitive age, hence flowers at the spots of deaths etc.
Also from such shows as the "X Factor" contestants are not behond the telling of personal grief to seize the emotions of the judges to somehow give them that extra edge.
Don't you think politicians also use such tactics? As I have said before notice how Brown;s attitude altered towards the death of that first soldier in the recent campaign.

AOG,
We no longer allow politicians to remain undisturbed in ivory towers. We want to know what makes them tick. There's public demand for it and has been for well over a generation. We vote for politicians based on the whole package. If we didn't, they'd just read out a list of policies and wouldn't bother wearing a suit. It's as much demand from the electorate as it is a ruse by the politicians, if not more.
But back to your original question, do you expect politicians to show equal grief towards the death of a soldier acting on their orders and the death of their own child? And is it hypocritical if the latter is greater than the former? Is that actually what you believe? Or are you flailing around for something to criticise because you hate Brown?
