oh a girl at work's BF knows him and she told me that peter kay is a big fan so got in touch with the elbow guy and that led to the elbow guy taking peter home to meet his mum, when they walked in she told peter to put the kettle on and stop for tea. Very sweet story.

I watched it and rewound and still dont know what his problem was.

I think we need a lipreader for this particular Brits -its been muted from the word go.

I suspect the producer told someone to book 'that Kay bloke' to compere, when the producer asked if they had booked him was told Peter Kaye has agreed to which he replied 'not PETER I meant Vernon'
