Can I upgrade a Potterton Promax HE 24 to a 30 by simple changing the burner?

This boiler comes in 24/2 and 30 models and checking out the parts list the only difference seems to be the size of the burner ( and a jumper change on the PCB). I need more capacity for my heating and this would mean a 25% increase in output. According to the Service Manual it seems a simple swap?

I suspect the answer is 'yes' but you need Gucciman to answer this because he's a properly-qualified heating engineer. The work must be done by a heating technician anyway, who will need to check out the flue arrangements and the gas supply - neither of which are likely to cause an issue. The new burner also needs to be set up and tested by a qualified technician.
cant say off the top of my head as there could be a difference in the gas injectors, the heat exchanger, the fan, flue etc.

i would contact potterton (baxi) and ask them
