Having great difficulty in solving r.h.s of the above Any cluesor hints to the down clues woulbd be most welcomed. Have found the six across answers which have been altered but in trying to solve the twelve down clues. I think i have found six of them but then in 18 down why is the L left out

Do you have 21 across? This should give you a big hint as to what to do with the RHS (which is different from what you're doing to the LHS).

The first word of the three word expression at 21 across explains what you do with six down clues on lhs. Similarly the last word of 21 across explains what you do with six down clues on rhs. Dr b has given you a link to the other thread for this EV.

Sorry, that should have read down answers in both cases. To repeat Doc HH's helpful hint from the other thread, bet you will have got it by now.

I would write down the letters that are affected in the down answers on the lhs and rhs of the grid across the top of the grid. Looking at your question it appears that you are on the right track
