do i need to do anything special with my tadpoles once they have front and back legs ... two of my tadpoles died after they got front and back legs ???

you could try making sure they have a stone or rock to sit on,part of which is completely clear of the water.Their lungs are well developed at this stage,and it is important that they have a water free area to breathe in.
