fed up.
Took my dog for a walk this morning , slipped on an icy patch , broke my wrist. Have taken my dog everyday in the really bad weather, and today when there was little snow, down I went .Was rescued by a young couple out with their dogs . they got me to my feet , she drove my car home for me , and then a friend took me to the hospital.. Big bunches of flowers all round to say thanks on their way. But feel so mad at myself -- I could cry .Sod's law I suppose.

Sorry to hear this Brenda, a friend broke her shoulder in the ice last year and I know how she felt. You must feel so cheesed off - get mended soon!

Slipped on my ar*e a couple of weeks ago @ Dunstable Downs & fubarred my shoulder brenda - only just starting being able to use it again.

Hi Brenda - sorry to hear of your fall, that bloody ice is lethal. I think we are all well and truely fed up with this long drawn out winter now. Spring is just around the corner, not sure whose corner though.

I sometimes take a long umbrella with me so I could use it as a cane. lol
