Matthew Kelly sitcom

Can anybody remember a sitcom from the late 70's/early 80's which had Matthew Kelly in the cast? I think it was set in a hotel and Kelly was a member of staff, possibly working in the kitchen. He had a curly perm and it was obviously made before he had had dental work. Think it was ITV.
