Double cylinder foot pumps
I bought a double cylinder foot pump for my car tyres, but found it too difficult to use. Firstly the clip to fasten it onto the valve was very stiff to operate. Secondly I needed to support myself and stand on it with both feet to operate it. Needless to say it was an expensive disappointment. I now have a single cylinder pump which is much easier to use. The way these double cylinder things are advertised makes them sound marvellous. Have others had this experience and how did you cope with it?

Thank you all for these comments. I wonder if anyone has a double cylinder pump and is satisfied with it? I'm obviously not alone with the problem. No Chas, I don't need to use a pump very often - just for a check over. I hadn't heard of the electric kind you mention Wak, which could be useful on occasions, but for the time being I'll stick with the single cylinder one I have. It's very helpful to share these thoughts with others.
