Totally numb she had a stroke yesterday, went into day to be told that she had passed away as i was travelling to the hospital, cant believe i wont speak with her again
sorry to hear your sad news, poodicat. Remember, it is only right that children should lose their parents - for parents to lose their children is much much worse. But I know it's painful.
Poodi - I shall be signing off shortly. Just hoping you have managed to get some rest and that your sister arrives safely tomorrow and in good time. There are some lovely words on here for you today. I think your posting struck a chord with many of us. My thoughts are with you and your family.
Poodi. Hope you are bearing up this morning. Just read that you had decided on a humanist funeral. I lost my Mum last March and arranged a non religious funeral for her. It was very spiritual and we had a lot of her favourite music. It too was what she would have wanted.
Morning everyone my head is like mince, one of my sons friends has a humanist funeral service which makes it easier as i know him,off to pick up the death certificate later thanks again for all your kind thoughtsx
