tadpoles

my tadpole that i had the one that died well i did have a place for it to get all the way out of water but it wouldnt get back in the water could that be y it died should i make sure it dont stay there for very long and my tree frog would stand on its head and wouldnt let it come up for air should i put them in different places and also does it matter what kind of water i use and what can i feed them besize fish flakes or something?

If you google "tadpoles",the first website,"how to raise tadpoles" has some really helpful info.I would def. keep different species of frogs apart.Good luck!
