don't think the boosh can be credited with this, yogi will confirm that it was someone like the beatnuts or bootsy collins that came up with "we got the funk".

Can't claim to know TMB's song, but the Pringles ad. is a re-make of the old 1970's Parliament hit 'Flashlight' (Bootsy was a vital part of the Parliament / Funkadelic collective, vibrasphere) and the line was actually " ... he need the funk ...help him find the funk ...) with the band extemporising around that with " ... we need the funk ... gotta have that funk ...) so if TMB are using the same riff, they have copied it from the same source, and neither they, nor the Pringles ad people can claim it as their own.
