Just realised that 9A is Tangier.

This makes 3D: - - I - - E -
and 8D: - R - S [can it be BRAS? If so why?]
3d. gripes (cockney grapes?)
the other thread has been used more http://www.theanswerb...s/Question865337.html
Well... 1A is ORANGE, but the Good For Nothing clue means it should be entered as GRANGE. And 31A is PACING instead of PACINO.

9A Tangier - yup.
23A LET/IN - I think. Backwards in definitely.
3D GRIPES. Cockney grapes.

23D Should end in G, according to the G4O clue.

I have 13A beginning with R. Are you certain about 6D?
8d Brash - H = bras
23d seems to be L?G, not sure what.
1A ORANGE
9A TANGIER
13A RESAT
23A LET IN
3D GRIPES

I am not doing to well either? I too need answers to 31A, 7D, and 23D
31a Pacino = Pacing
7d Gases
23d Can only be Log, I think. (Record, but I don't get the rest!)
Log....Flog (hit) less (not wanted) F (foxtrot)
Thanks again, K. I saw your other post.

Thanks Aq. and Kayak. I have missed the point of the 'clashing' of the letters O and G. So CASINGS instead of CASINOS and GRATINGS not ORATINGS.........or have I got that wrong as well!
Don't forget the preamble!

Good-for-nothing ..i.e G for O !

Cheers K
