Regular executions of things under Windows?
I know this sounds like a DOS question (showing my age there) but is there any way to get a .bat file executed at a certain time of day according to a schedule
Sort of "run this every Monday at 10am"??
Cheers

It needs a registry hack to achieve it. I did it a few years ago for XP - can't remember exactly how, but something similar to this:

This looked so close to what I wanted BUT
I am the only user of this laptop, so I use the built-in Administrator account - without a password
When I create a scheduled task, Windows REQUIRES a user AND a password - and won't accept a blank
If I create a new user, just to run my scheduled tasks, I am now prompted to log in when I boot my pc - This is a pain
SO, modifying my original question
How can I schedule a task to run under a Windows ID that doesn't have a password??
Thanks

The free version of System Scheduler http://www.splinterwa.../products/wincron.htm will do it (but not the friendliest of interfaces)
