Nice areas to live in Sheffield/near Sheffield

The 'upmarket' areas within the city boundary include Abbeydale, Beauchief, Dore and Totley (all to the south of the city), together with Ranmoor, Fulwood and Sandygate (to the west). Heading to the north, Grenoside is also popular.

The Peak District National Park adjoins the city, on the western side. Villages such as Hathersage are popular with wealthy commuters.
