parenting or education ?
as a paren of teenage children i am beginning to get worried .
I have been watching the currant documentry series on chanel 4 at 18.10hrs regarding further education . it seems to me that all young aduts in further education are either gay or bi or anorexic or suicidal or likely to be killled or are going to meet a grisly end or have a gambling problem of have a drink problem or homocidal maniacs .
my question is this does this only occur in northern england establishments of further education or is it unilateral ?
I would say it's more likely that those other students who manage to get by with less drama in their lives doesn't make such interesting viewing.
There are links to intelligent people suffering from depression.... Not that it's just them obviously but they do have a tendency to dwell and think on things that probably don't require much thought. Plus over achievers can be quite anxious. How much these sorts of comments stand up to scruitiny though I don't know.
You obviously didn't go to uni yourself johnny.5 judging by the several spelling mistakes in your post.
Depression in students is a universal (not exclusive to those in Northern England)thing as is the ratio of gay and bisexual students, uni is a time when many young people discover their sexuality and lots of others others choose to experiment.
