Forza 3 load up problem

I have forza 3 and have been playing it for sometime, ive tried to load my profile as normal this morning and its saying i have to log on to xbox live to download a title? im not on Xbox live what can i do about this???

what it actually says is.....

Your profile save game requires the latest title update. Sign in to Xbox live and restart the game to download the title update.

But im not on Xbox live????? What can i Do?????

Do you have a way of connecting your 360 to the internet (cable to the modem or wireless dongle)? If so then you don't need to necessarily have a Gold Live account, the free silver account may be suitable. You can sign up for xbox live without having to pay a penny as long as you don't want the Gold account.

You've probably done what I managed to do. I loaded my profile onto a mate's memory card and played the game on his xBox, which had some new cars downloaded. I bought one of these downloaded cars and it's in my garage, but because I'm not on xBox Live I can't access the game and download the update for the car.
What you should do is nab a mate's memory card (if you don't own one), use a mate's xBox who is on Live and sell the offending car(s). Frustrating but there you go.

Maybe you're clicking on the wrong thing...

That is baffling, maybe it's as simple as you needing to update...
Or maye your profile has been tampered with...
