no, but I would like a couple of deduction free months a year.
nah,I wouldn't.
But I would definitely fiddle the damn horrible council tax which I hate with passion!!
Grrrrrrrr......I hate council tax. Some councils can be so damn greedy.
They always seem to find a reason for putting the tax up,which I'm sure pays their big FAT wages!!! No wonder there are so many councillors getting richer!! Grrrrrr....
I really get annoyed that bonuses are taxed, you work your elbow off to make targets to get a paltry bonus and they bloody tax it and make all those extra hours you put in seem pointless
Income tax was a temporary measure brought in a couple of hundred years ago - don't you think it's time it ended?
I couldn't agree more with your comment dot!!!
Well said....I'll definitely support you there.
;-)
Imhotep - I hope you only mean the counciller's big fat wages. I work for the council and am about to get my already meagre wages slashed as part of their equal pay measures. I'll still have to do more work than all my colleagues but I'll ony be earning a fraction of what they do cos I'm part time and we'll have the same hourly rate - it sucks big time :(
Just remember ...25% of all your council tax goes towards paying into the Golden final salary pension schemes for council workers.
While you have a paupers retirement , they will be ok
I think we would all "fiddle" our tax, if we were honest.

If we were told that we could treat the following as an expense ...

dinner with a friend

cab home

holiday

new lappy

etc ...

... would we really not do it?

The Revenue and Customs certainly fiddle their tax.

They hold their training conference in Spain and the Caribbean.

Obviously vital to go there.

Conference facilities in St Lucia much better than in Manchester !!!
you are so right Dot, working overtime makes no sense really. 3/4 of overtime pay goes in taxes, it make me regret doing overtime sometimes.
