When I delete my internet history and go and look at temporary internet files it can have a lot of files still there I have been told that this can slow down the performance of the computer, any suggestions. Another problem on the title bar when on the internet if I click the dropdown menu it gives all the sites I have visited and when I delete them and close it down when I click dropdown all the sites are back again please help.

Run disk clean up and it will get rid of all your rubbish. After you've done that follow the same route to Disk Degrafmenter. If haven't run either of these tools before it may take a while to complete. There is probably something similar in other versions of Windows.
Further to my earlier answer, and for future use, I recommend you download this piece of FREE software called "Advanced System Care" from here:-

Once downloaded and installed it will do all your cleaning up for you plus more. I have been using it for some time and I'm convinced my PC runs like new every day.
Run the "Maintain Windows" & "Diagnose System" features regularly. Just click on the button, then click "Scan". Let the utility do it's job and then click "Repair".

It is very good (in fact just click on the central CARE! button to do both actions that Dodger666 suggests), and it also includes quite a few useful utilities such as optimizing your internet connection.
If you're feeling more adventurous then IObit's free Smart Defrag is also worth having, it can sit in the background defragging your hard drive when your system is idle. I've been using that for the last couple of years without a problem.
