I am about to start a business as a PC technician doing home call outs to residential customers.

I have been a techie for about 6 years on and off and I have an NVQ Level 3 qualification in hardware and software, however I would like some sort of official guild badge or something to put on my business stationary, any ideas where I can get a quick and free/cheap certification/endorsement/professional membership?

cheers guys

ECDL? It's a joke but it's recognised.

heheh... I was looking for something a little more industry standard. but thanks.

I really dont know where people like yourself get the cheek from.

As a computer engineer myself, I have had to pay over 1000 for my trianing, which got me an industry recognised qualification known as Comptia A+ ( A PLUS )

Dont expect any free qualification - at the end of the day, you WILL pay for it, either in hard cash as I had to, or through business failure !

Lets hope its not the latter
