Scottish police have warned a store selling "Anyone but England" T-shirts in the run-up to the World Cup that its window display might be considered racist and should perhaps be removed. A spokesman for the Aberdeen store Slanj, which also has branches in Glasgow and Edinburgh, said staff were "flabbergasted". ......

As an English person, I don't look upon this as racist...

This illustrates the inherent ignorance of the Scottish Police.

The "English" are not a "race" ... we are merely a nationality ...

(the "English" are constituted of too many diverse "racial" groups to form a "race" in our own right)

... so disliking them (us) cannot be "racist"

It may, perhaps, be xenophobic.

Typical pea-brained misconception.
