At last it seems that the Tories are beginning to see sense.

If they want to stand any chance of having any success in the future election, then they have got to reign back in those disillusioned voters, those that are fed up to the teeth, that no one listens to them.

Old Labour took over the centre ground and became an initial successful "New labour" now the Tories should move over more to the right, and then begin to tackle Crime & Punishment, Immigration, Benefit Cheats etc.

They should go out on the streets and ask the ordinary floating voter, what concerns them, and then make up a manifesto with a view of implicating some of these measures.

Who know it could be the making of a brand new party, a party that actually listens and then acts.

The politicians already know what the electorate wants they are told often enough by the media , by opinion polls, by canvassing etc. but acting on that knowledge is a different matter.
Once the human rights brigade in this country and the EU regulations are applied our MPs are powerless even if they had had the guts to do anything in the first place.
We had a Tory government in power for 13 years and what did they do about , immigration, crime , education , and abuse of the NHS. ? Sadly very little.

Doesn't Osborne realise we pulled ourselves out of recession not by giving handouts to business but by giving them to purchasers instead.

The car scrappage scheme worked because a £2000 allowance was given to the consumer. This helped the motor industry.

The VAT cut was given to consumers, This helped many businesses to stay afloat.

The reduction in Stamp Duty for house purchasers kept the housing market buoyant.
