I love quizzes and puzzles

I also love crosswords, but why do people put crossword questions in quizzes and puzzles when it has its own section? I go to the quizzes and puzzles section to see if there is anything to tax my leetle grey cells, but it is full of crossword questions which I find totally boring. I like to do crosswords but would not ask on here for someone else to give me the answers.
