Hi,

If the PTA organise a carboot sale on school grounds as a regular monthly event do they have to pay tax on the entance fee for both carboot sellers and/or buyers?

Also do they need any extra insurances other than those normally associated with the school and PTA activities?

Thanks

Not if the PTA is a registered charity.
Almost certainly an extension to the existing public liability insurance will be required to cover this new risk.
