Why are pundits always so blinded by results?
England's game last night . . . "game of two halves" . . . "massive improvement" . . . "what did the manger say at half time?". . . .
Because we were 1-0 down at half time we were dire, but we were brilliant in the second half because we scored three.
In the game I was was watching, it was a pretty good performance over the 90 minutes, but we just happened to miss some clear cut chances in the first half, but not in the second.
